At Acuity, the Proposal Solutions Representative is the single point of contact for the sales team on bid requests from nationally scoped customers. Responsibilities include independent judgment in product selection, autonomy in assessing applications and generating quotes, translating customers' needs to the Product and Engineering teams for modifications or new designs, and creating and managing submittal packages for a timely bid.

• Partner with agents and channel partners to research and make independent determinations of product and application needs.
• Develop BOM/quote for customers based on those determinations.
• Coordinate with engineering & design teams on the feasibility of MEZ requests, pre-order submittals, cross-section drawings, controls layouts, photometric files, RFWD, and samples as needed.
• Work cross-functionally with Project Managers, Product Managers, Engineers, Acuity Quotes Department (AQD), and Application Support.
• Responsible for MEZ pricing, including coordination with engineering, AQD, and vendors as needed.
• Coordinate with engineering to ensure samples and final products are built to spec.
• Coordinate with regional Project Managers and Application Engineers on complex projects involving MEZs and competitive crossovers.
• Use the Acuity Business System (ABS) Tools daily to track individual and departmental metrics.
• Use Lean and ABS Tools to identify opportunities within daily work and process improvement events.

• 3 years of experience in a similar role in the lighting industry.

• A bachelor's degree in a related field.

The range for this position is $66,500.00to$. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
