Engineer to be a part of the growing Atlanta, GA design team. An opportunity exists for a highly motivated Bridge Engineer, who wants to be a part of a dynamic Transportation group. Our people are Stantec’s most valuable resource, and in joining our team you will be able to leverage your career experiences and expertise in bridge design to contribute to the growth of the Bridge Group and Stantec.

• Prepare structural design calculations, plans and contract documents in accordance with applicable design and agency standards (i.e. GDOT or SCDOT, AASHTO, ACI, AISC, etc.).
• Develop plan submissions for all manner of structural transportation projects.
• Perform structural analysis of new designs and existing structures (bridges and other transportation structures).
• Lead and review conceptual design alternatives to develop innovative and cost-effective design solutions.
• Lead and review preliminary and final design and plans and load ratings.
• Potentially perform inspection of simple and complex bridges along with preparing the inspection reports.
