GNC Engineering Intern; Controls - Fall

Position: GNC Engineering Intern (Controls) - Fall 2026

As a GNC Engineering Intern, you will support the development of guidance, navigation, and control systems for uncrewed high-speed aircraft. This role focuses heavily on controls development, algorithm implementation, and testing.

Summer:
Around 12 weeks (May - August)

Fall:
Around 16 weeks (August - December)

Responsibilities:

* Support the design, implementation, and testing of guidance and control algorithms for uncrewed high-speed aircraft

* Assist in developing and tuning control laws for flight vehicle stability and performance

* Implement and validate control algorithms in simulation and test environments

* Support analysis of test data and help refine control system performance

Minimum Requirements:

* Pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

* Strong background in controls, dynamics, and feedback systems

* Experience with control system modeling and simulation

* Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, Python, or similar tools used for controls development

* Strong understanding of engineering first principles

* Demonstrated ability to work within cross-functional teams

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* GPA of 3.0 or above

$25 - $33 an hour
