Responsibilities
- The Technical Manager is responsible for process scope definition & integrity to include: process design, mass & energy balances, PFDs and P&IDs, process simulations and operating envelopes, and equipment process datasheets and design criteria.
- Lead and participate in HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, relief system design, and operability reviews from early project stages.
- Clear, executable process scopes with minimal rework downstream.
- Strong EPC alignment and reduced technical risk.
- Relocation provided. $150K-$170K.
- The Technical Manager will have a BS in Chemical Engineer and 10+ years of experience in chemical, petrochemical, refining, or recycling.
- Demonstrated experience taking at least one technology/project from concept to startup
- Strong hands‑on capability with:
Aspen Plus / Aspen HYSYS (or equivalent), Mass & energy balances, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment sizing. - Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
