Senior Project Manager – Water Infrastructure Projects

Atlanta, GA (Greater Metro Area)
Salary: $140,000–$195,000/year (based on experience) + Vehicle Allowance / company truck + gas card + full benefits

We’re hiring on behalf of a top-ranked heavy civil contractor delivering complex water, wastewater, and utility infrastructure projects across Georgia and the Southeast. What You’ll Be Doing- Lead large-scale WTP, WWTP, and stormwater utility construction projects
- Oversee all phases – preconstruction, scheduling, procurement, and delivery
- Coordinate submittals, RFIs, and change orders with internal and external stakeholders
- Mentor project engineers and field teams while fostering a culture of safety and accountability
- Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Track budgets, profitability, and client communications throughout the project lifecycle
- Optimize operational efficiency from mobilization to final turnover
- 10+ years in project management for heavy civil or water infrastructure projects
- Direct experience working for a general contractor (contractor-side experience is essential)
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Strong financial, schedule, and subcontractor management skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
- Background in wet utilities, WWTP, WTP, stormwater, or public utility construction
- Willingness to relocate or travel within the Southeast (relocation support available)
- Earn competitively – $140,000–$195,000/year, paid bi-weekly
