Geotechnical Field Technicians - Atlanta, Georgia
Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is looking for Geotechnical Field Technicians.
Responsibilities include construction observation and testing of soils, concrete, and other materials. This is an entry level opportunity geared toward individuals with an interest or experience in geology, geotechnical engineering or construction. Technicians are paid a competitive hourly wage with overtime paid at 1.5 times your hourly rate. Travel mileage is reimbursed at the IRS rate (currently $0.73 per mile) for travel.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- B.S. in Civil Engineering, Geology, or similar degree preferred but not required
- ACI Certification preferred
- ICC Certifications in soils, reinforced concrete, masonry, SFRM, bolting, welding and/or special inspections a PLUS!
- Enjoy working outdoors
- Ability to work alone as well as in a group
- Reliable vehicle and valid drivers license required
