• Salary range: $89,000 – $134,000

• Lead and oversee the Systems Application Engineers (SAEs) under general direction.
• Ensure assigned projects are executed profitably, accurately, on time, within scope, and aligned with customer expectations.
• Prevent and minimize equipment slippage and follow up to avoid reoccurrence.
• Assign SAEs to Account Executives and balance pre‑ and post‑sales activities.
• Provide training and support on project‑management practices and the equipment order execution process.
• Support pre‑sales activities including system configuration validation, HVAC equipment / controls selection, bidding, application, and pricing.
• Develop accurate, detailed submittals communicating design, configuration, operation, and installation requirements to customers, consultants, service teams, and subcontractors.
• Maintain balance between internal processes, customer satisfaction, and project financial results.
• Assist the HVAC Sales Operations Manager with revenue forecasting, collections, and resource planning.
• Manage overall performance of assigned SAEs, perform recruitments, evaluations, salary management, and promote team development.
• Act as first‑level escalation for equipment orders, commitments, delivery, final payment, and customer satisfaction issues.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert on equipment and in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Identify technical gaps among SAEs, develop and implement short‑term plans to address these gaps.
• Review SAEs’ equipment and controls estimates, proposals, selections, and engineering submittals.
• Provide technical support and limited estimating support during design or proposal phases.
• Assist in developing customer business cases for conceptual solutions.
• Monitor and support SAE teams on deployment, startup, and warranty processes.
• Analyze equipment slippage root causes and collaborate on corrective actions.
• Communicate process problems, warranty trends, and systemic delivery issues to corporate leadership.
• Participate in review sessions and feedback groups.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum seven years of progressively responsible operations‑management experience in the building construction industry, with at least five years of direct project‑management experience.
• Proven ability to manage and develop a team successfully.
• High‑level competence in written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel as required to support assigned teams.
• Computer proficiency:
  Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio), Adobe Writer, basic Windows OS;
  AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage a large and diverse portfolio of projects with professionalism and persistence.
