HVAC and plumbing systems.

Properselectionand designensureoptimalenvironmental conditioning for the operation of the processing facilities systems. Using your broad focus, you will provide solutions to complex problems facing manufacturingandrelated customers.

The Mechanical Team is engaged in: 

+ Design, Preconstruction Planning,and Construction support

+ Working with equipment partners to leverage the best technical solutions to the problems at hand

+ Project Delivery Methods - Design-Bid-Build and Owner's Engineer, depending on need. 

+ Facility Types - Industrial facilities such as food and beverage manufacturing, agricultural processing, semiconductor manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, automotive manufacturing and other leading edge industries.

+ Systems - HVAC, Plumbing, and Chillers

Studies:

+ Energy Audit/Efficiency - Engineering studies, system performance reviews, and energy compliance calculations.

+ Code Review/Application - Facility review for code compliance 

Project Execution:

+ Mechanical Quality Plans - concept development, defining the requirements area by area, and solutioning.

+ Equipment Sizing and Selection - using utility summary, facility layouts, and OEM resources.

** Preferred Qualifications*
* Basic knowledge of the following areas:

+ General understanding of building and utility systems is preferred, interest in growing knowledge base and skillsets is required.

+ Ability to perform basic HVAC Heat load calculations, energy modeling and HVAC equipment sizing 

+ Aware of the technical submittal review process

+ Aware of bid review process 

+ Microsoft Office Suite 

+ Bluebeam Revu or other markup tool, Revit or CAD experience a plus    

+ International Codes Council (ICC) Suite of Codes 

+ ASHRAE, ASME, NFPA Handbooks…
