About the Role

Data Scientist role in Purchasing Power’s analytics team. Hybrid location in Atlanta, Georgia, open to relocating.

• Build, maintain, and improve decision systems and predictive models that are key to Purchasing Power’s competitive advantage.
• Explore new data sources, both internal and external, and use findings to enhance model performance.
• Design, implement, and run in‑market experimentation and A/B testing of new algorithms, technologies, and processes.
• Develop prototypical solutions to business problems using cutting‑edge technologies.
• Leverage AI‑enabled tools throughout workflows and recommend strategic changes through rigorous analysis and creative problem solving.
• Identify, evaluate, and support implementation of advanced analytics methods.
• Collaborate with a collegial team of data scientists.

• 2+ years of professional experience as a data scientist or similar role.
• Master’s degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., Math, Stats, Economics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science).
• Experience with R, Python, machine learning tools, and SQL.
• Demonstrated ability to apply advanced models to real‑world problems.
• Strong research, evaluation, and design skills.

• Experience in engineering environments.
• Knowledge of Dev Ops and Git.
• Track record of AI use and implementation.
