Position: Staff Solutions Engineer - Manhattan Active Warehouse Management

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Solutions Engineer - Manhattan Active Warehouse Management to join our team. You will lead complex software engineering initiatives by prioritizing, building, shipping and supporting impactful features for our Supply Chain operations. You will architect, design, develop, deploy packaged applications and integrate them with larger systems and 3rd party solutions. Experience with Manhattan Associates" Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM) is required, with a proven track record of software implementations in the Supply Chain domain.

As a senior engineering leader, you will lead strategic initiatives to build best-in-class Supply Chain applications that implement, integrate and extend MAWM as well as other Manhattan Associates and 3rd party solutions into complex distributed systems across on-prem and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will develop strategies and tactics for delivering cutting-edge products, leveraging expertise in engineering management, distributed system design and software development.

Responsibilities
  • Solution Expertise:
    Lead large-scale MAWM deployments. Implement MAWM technical configuration controls, extend MAWM functionality, support MAWM production and integrate Manhattan with other systems (Host, MHE, 3rd party systems, etc.).
  • Technical Oversight:
    Design and oversee the build-out and operations of complex distributed systems vide technical support and evaluation of software to ensure scalable, best-in-class solutions that meet future non-functional requirements.
  • System Performance:
    Monitor and optimize system performance, identify opportunities for enhancement and address issues or bottlenecks. Establish KPIs and OKRs to gain quantitative insight for process improvements.
  • End-to-end Ownership:
    Lead initiatives from strategy through delivery in complex and highly visible engineering projects.
  • Prioritization and Pivots:
    Guide prioritization aligned with strategic objectives. Mentor and coach the implementation team through pivots while maintaining focus on objectives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

    Work with architecture, engineering, cloud, platform, infrastructure, network, security, governance and other teams to align with guidelines. Collaborate with Product, Operations and other stakeholders on delivery and support.
  • Risk Management:

    Identify, communicate and mitigate risks. Present progress, challenges and opportunities to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Staying Current:
    Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in software development, analytics, data science and AI/ML to drive innovation.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of progressive software engineering experience leading, designing, architecting and deploying large-scale applications.
  • 7+ years as a hands-on software development engineer using Java, Python or similar languages.
  • 4+ years of leading implementation and support of MAWM, Manhattan Integration Framework (MIF) and Supply Chain Intelligence (SCI).
  • 5+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS).
  • 5+ years designing and building high-volume distributed and scalable containerized applications in public cloud.
  • 3+ years of experience with Automation technologies (e.g., Jenkins).
  • 3+ years of experience in PL/SQL.
  • 3+ years of experience in Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong experience in web services, microservices and service-oriented architectures.
  • Experience in automation, Dev Ops, containers (Kubernetes/Docker), pub/sub, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Relationship management with technical and non-technical customers and stakeholders.
  • Growth mindset and ability to develop yourself and others.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
Education

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience).

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is $ - $. The actual base salary offer depends on experience, education, geography and other factors. Eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program, and equity awards as applicable.
