We’re looking for a dedicated Project Manager - BAS who is excited to contribute their skills, grow their career, and be part of a supportive, collaborative team. Responsibilities
  • Evaluate project specifications, drawings, and related documents to understand project intentions, establishing comprehensive project schedules in coordination with the team while identifying crucial installation timelines.
  • Oversee the procurement of supplies and materials required for project completion, and actively participate in project cost reviews to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Assist in contracting subcontractors, coordinating their activities to align with the project scope, schedules, and fiscal requirements while ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
  • Provide all necessary project documentation such as scope of work, technical drawings, project contacts, and application‑engineered diagrams.
  • Diligently track project resources and progress, documenting any events impacting the schedule, scope, and overall efficiency; identify and pursue opportunities for project‑specific change orders.
  • Manage project‑specific billing coordination with the accounting team, schedule commissioning resources, expedite the return of mark‑ups for as‑built development, and ensure timely completion of project‑specific close‑out documentation.
  • Develop and update project implementation plans, coordinating resources to ensure timely and cost‑effective installation and completion of assigned projects or tasks. Create full and complete project estimates, drafting written proposal responses and contracts.
  • Ensure profitable completion of each project or task. Effectively manage cash, cost, and billing. Consistently produce billings in a timely and accurate manner in a format required by our customers and ensure that billings are clearly communicated to our customers.
  • Develop and maintain viable relationships with customers, prime contractors, subcontractors, and trade personnel. Schedule and attend progress meetings as directed. Provide detailed instructions to and interface with installers and subcontractors. Ensure that subcontractors readily understand the expectations of the project.
  • Adhere to safety standards. Maintain a high degree of regard for employee and subcontractor safety.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or an Engineering Degree in a relevant engineering field preferred and/or 3 to 5 years of experience with Project Management in BMS/BAS, HVAC, construction or critical facilities operations.
  • Must be able to travel to job sites as needed – up to 50% travel may be required.
