Stillpoint Talent Group is partnering with a highly respected civil engineering and surveying firm to identify a Civil Engineer (PE) for its Atlanta office. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a firm known for delivering high-quality land development, infrastructure, and site engineering solutions throughout Georgia and the Southeast.
The Civil Engineer will serve as a key contributor on a variety of land development projects, providing technical expertise in site design, grading, stormwater management, utility design, and permitting. This role is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer with 5+ years of experience in civil site and land development engineering who enjoys managing technical design efforts, collaborating with clients, and contributing to successful project delivery.

Responsibilities- Prepare and oversee civil engineering designs for land development projects including commercial, mixed-use, industrial, residential, institutional, and municipal developments
- Design site layouts, grading plans, storm drainage systems, utility infrastructure, erosion control measures, and construction documents
- Perform stormwater management, hydrologic, and hydraulic analyses
- Coordinate permitting activities with local municipalities, counties, and regulatory agencies
- Develop engineering calculations, technical reports, and supporting documentation
- Coordinate with surveyors, planners, architects, landscape architects, and other project consultants
- Participate in client meetings and maintain strong client relationships throughout project delivery
- Review plans and specifications to ensure quality, constructability, and regulatory compliance
- Support construction administration activities including submittal reviews, RFIs, and field coordination
- Mentor junior engineering staff and support technical development efforts
- Contribute to project scheduling, resource planning, and overall project success
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required (or in process of completing licensure)
- 5+ years of experience in civil site design or land development engineering
- Strong experience with site development, grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility design
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D required
- Experience preparing construction documents and permitting packages required
- Familiarity with Georgia development regulations and permitting processes preferred
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a consulting environment
