Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in manufacturing.
- 8 years of experience in product engineering, manufacturing, or development management.
- 8 years of experience in people management.
- Experience supporting or leading multiple projects and managing an engineering team.
- Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, or a related engineering field.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Quality, or Product Engineering for hardware technology and systems.
- Ability to work, influence, and resolve conflicts cross‑functionally with internal and external partners.

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $171,000–$248,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Learn more about benefits at Google.
Responsibilities- Lead a team, defining priorities that support organizational goals; meet with individuals to discuss performance, development, and provide feedback and coaching.
- Apply Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) fundamentals and collaborate with teams to help them understand and apply RCCA tools and principles and analyze failures to resolve issues.
- Lead the team in day‑to‑day operations, ensuring contract manufacturers meet quality and on‑time delivery (OTD) goals, and directing Product Health Reviews to drive continuous improvement across key performance metrics (e.g., yield, capacity, NPI transition).
- Partner with NPI leadership to integrate sustaining team insights into the manufacturing plan, Design for Excellence (DFx), and test strategy, and collaborate on risk mitigation to ensure predictable and scalable mass production.
- Partner with Quality leaders to achieve product quality and reliability goals, guiding and validating product qualification plans and results.
