This role supports civil engineering efforts within the Mission Critical Solution, where infrastructure is designed to protect national security and support high consequence federal missions. It involves delivering secure, sustainable planning and design solutions for federal facilities worldwide, reducing risk through collaboration and reliable civil site development.

• Act in a project engineering technician capacity under general supervision.
• Develop and modify engineering drawings and models using tools such as Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Apply foundational civil engineering principles to produce accurate, high‑quality deliverables.
• Use digital tools and design software (CAD, BIM, 3D modeling) to create, modify, and maintain technical documentation.
• Provide technical guidance to other engineering professionals and technicians.
• Ensure design documentation complies with codes, standards, and BV policies.
• Review design inputs for consistency and accuracy.
• Perform design calculations, material quantities, and estimates.
• Assist with scheduling, work assignments, and coordination with design group personnel.
• May support field activities and plant start‑up operations related to specialized areas.
• Proactively seek and share knowledge of latest technologies and processes.

Diploma or Certificate preferred. Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.

Typically a minimum of 5 years related work experience. Must be able to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records search).

Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion.
