Southern Company is seeking an Environmental Affairs Compliance Assurance Engineer/Specialist located in Atlanta, GA. This role is vital for ensuring the sustainability and compliance of environmental programs across Georgia Power.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or science, alongside 5+ years of relevant experience in environmental compliance or information systems. Responsibilities include enhancing Enablon, supporting compliance assurance, and engaging with various stakeholders.
Position requires in-office presence four days a week and up to 25% travel throughout Georgia, with occasional travel to Alabama.
