Job Description Overview
We are seeking a Senior CSA Estimator to join our team in Atlanta, GA, Alexandria, VA, New York, NY, Houston, TX, Austin, TX, Dallas, TX, Tampa, FL or any other location where there is an AtkinsRéalis office. This hybrid role requires attendance at the office 3 days per week. The ideal candidate works on a wide variety of projects and must have Civil, Structural, and Architectural estimating experience.
Responsibilities- Analyze blueprints and documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Perform accurate quantity takeoffs of available design documents.
- Lead the development of conceptual and feasibility cost model estimates utilizing historic benchmarking information and industry experience to develop early‑stage cost estimate forecasts.
- Obtain up‑to‑date pricing information from databases, contractors, suppliers, etc. for use in estimates.
- Review and validate estimate takeoff data in CATO for specific disciplines, assessing accuracy and suitability for project type and requirements.
- Finalize estimate unit cost pricing to reflect current market conditions and project logistics.
- Review historic benchmark cost information and highlight variances.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to clarify project scope during estimate preparation.
- Build relationships with A/E firms and project team members.
- Prepare cost reconciliation between multiple estimates and explain variance cost drivers.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Supervisor.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related engineering field.
- Minimum 7 years of aviation‑related estimating experience preferred.
- Ability to provide high‑level cost estimates for transportation, industrial, manufacturing, or commercial projects.
- Independent work with PA engineers to provide cost estimates and reconcile with contractor bids.
- Fluent in MS Excel, On‑Screen takeoff, and SharePoint document control.

CompensationExpected compensation range: $120,000 – $150,000 annually, depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
