We are enthusiastically searching for Environmental Subject Matter Experts and GIS Technicians to join our growing team throughout the southern US. Selected candidates will work on alternative delivery projects, including mega-projects.
Key Roles- Task Lead / Subject Matter Expert
- Task / Subject Matter Expert Team Members
- GIS Specialists
- Experience conducting environmental analysis specific to large transportation projects
- Experience with environmental permitting specific to large transportation projects
- Experience with NEPA
- Experience using and interpreting roadway files to analyze impacts
- Experience with complex projects which include many overlapping layers and data sets that are in flux.
- GIS Specialists: BS Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
- Junior Level Engineers Task & Subject Matter Expert Team Members: BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
- Mid-Level Engineers/ Task & Subject Matter Expert Team Members: BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
- Senior Level Engineers / SME & Task Leads: BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
- Experience using GIS and DGN’s
- State DOT experience
- Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
- Relocation assistance may be available for this role.
- These positions are expected to be hybrid (remote/in-office) and based out of a local AECOM office.
All newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.
