• Deliver innovative, cost-effective packaging solutions that minimize cost, add value to customers, and advance sustainability.
• Oversee and manage the complete packaging development process, including design creation, prototype development, and performance testing.
• Continuously improve the capability of existing KCP packaging and equipment to better meet customer and end-user requirements.
• Recommend and lead packaging development programs that reduce damage or provide a competitive advantage.
• Identify and implement cost‑saving initiatives related to packaging materials, labor, efficiency, transportation, and storage.
• Establish and maintain relationships with packaging suppliers to stay current on developments.
• Understand and communicate the impact of regional legislation on packaging.
• Develop and maintain packaging specifications and standards supporting production and manufacturing of KCP products.

• Bachelor’s degree in packaging, engineering, business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Proficiency with CAPE, TOPS, Artios CAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• General understanding of suppliers’ manufacturing processes.
• Ability to design corrugated, carton board, paper wrap, and film structures.
• Demonstrated ability to perform in a team‑oriented environment.
• Knowledge of the correlation between final art and package design.
• Awareness of applicable packaging laws and regulations.

Salary range: $87,260 – $107,780 USD (US locations only). Actual pay depends on location, role, skills, performance, and experience. The grade level may vary by location or country. This position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including 401(k) and profit sharing.
