We're looking for a technically strong transmission professional to join our Transmission Interconnection and Grid Integration team at a major vertically integrated electric utility.
What You'll Do- Lead generator interconnection requests through Impact Studies, Cluster Studies, and Facilities Studies
- Apply FERC Order 888, 2003, and 2023 within a vertically integrated OATT framework
- Evaluate bus topology, system constraints, and reliability impacts for new generation and large load additions
- Coordinate across internal Generation, Transmission, and Distribution teams
- Drive transmission expansion and system planning programs from study through execution
- 8+ years in a vertically integrated utility, transmission owner, or transmission consulting firm
- Working knowledge of FERC 888, 2003, and 2023
- Transmission Line Design or Transmission Project Management experience a strong plus
