Impact

The Senior Scheduler is responsible for the overall scheduling component of ACMP services, including assessment of the ATLNext Element status and the preparation of periodic reports for oversight management and field coordination.

Responsibilities
  • Provide overall scheduling component of ACMP services, assess ATLNext Element status, and produce periodic reports for oversight management and field coordination.
  • Monitor schedule updates submitted by contractors, determine compliance with contract requirements, and establish proper documentation and filing of schedules.
  • Analyze the Element for schedule problems that project contractors may not have recognized.
  • Prepare Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Project schedules.
  • Verify contractor schedules for conformance with contract documents.
  • Confirm that contractor schedules are aligned with contract scheduling requirements and include activities and logic that provide sufficient detail, incorporate all contract milestones and other necessary milestones, include weekly or monthly updates per contract requirements, and clearly define activities and dates critical to successful completion.
  • Review contractor schedules, provide comments, and report findings to applicable ACM/RE/ARE.
  • Perform field verification of schedule information.
  • Maintain an up‑to‑date assessment of the contract through the schedule, document status, and advise ACM/RE/ARE of significant issues.
  • Set up construction schedule information for computerization and enter data in the computer for processing.
  • Assist contractor in developing, revising and finalizing their detailed schedule.
  • Review and assess contractor detail schedules for compliance with contract milestones and restraints.
  • Maintain the current construction schedule with approved and documented changes.
  • Implement best management practices to review and report schedule updates, baselines and time‑impact analyses (TIA).
  • Preserve the baseline construction schedule as approved, with no changes or modifications to activity data.
  • Facilitate corrective action in collaboration with the lead scheduler and applicable ACM/RE/ARE.
  • Maintain operating awareness of all contract issues and ATLNext participants.
  • Collect schedule data for computerization and enter data in the computer for processing.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date assessment of the schedule, report status, and advise management of any significant issues.
  • Develop and/or assist with the development of scheduling specifications for project managers and contractors.
  • Assist Schedulers and contractors in developing, revising and finalizing detail schedules without impacting contractor sequence of operations.
  • Review contractor detail schedules with the Scheduler for compliance with Element milestones and restraints.
  • Maintain current Master Schedule(s) with approved documented changes.
  • Preserve the target Master Schedule as approved with no changes.
  • Develop and recommend alternative schedule solutions with the management team to resolve schedule problems and conflicts.
  • Facilitate corrective action in collaboration with the management team.
  • Evaluate the schedule impact of change orders on the Master Schedule.
  • Develop alternatives to minimize delays to the Element.
Qualifications
  • University degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar subject.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).
  • Working knowledge of PMWeb, Primavera (P6), and Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, proficiency in writing clear reports and business correspondence.
