Provide technical leadership and execution support for mechanical, electrical, piping, and fire protection disciplines on power sector projects. Lead day‑to‑day development, coordination, and delivery of MEPFP systems across all project phases, ensuring safety, quality, performance, budget, and schedule alignment. Work closely with project teams, field leadership, design partners, OEMs, and trade partners to resolve complex system challenges and support constructability, installation, testing, and commissioning of major power plant systems.
Key Responsibilities- Lead development, coordination, and delivery of MEPFP systems across all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to resolve complex system challenges and support constructability.
- Contribute to estimating, system development, bid analysis, scheduling, quality control, and commissioning.
- Report to Engineering Services Leadership Team and lead initiatives to strengthen technical capabilities within the power sector.
- Build and develop a team of M/E engineers, establish consistent approaches, and reinforce technical standards.
- Lead delivery of reliable outcomes and advance the company’s presence in power generation.
- Mentor less experienced co‑workers and create innovative tools to improve processes and work products.
- Negotiate subcontracts and participate in business development efforts.
- Conduct effective presentations (Advanced).
- Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Apply construction management fundamentals to projects.
- Use construction technology and scheduling software (Intermediate).
- Apply Lean process and philosophy (Advanced).
- Manage budgets, maximize profitability, and build industry relationships (Advanced).
- Prepare project budgets, GMPs, or hard bids.
- Maintain deep understanding of power generation technologies.
- Execute EPC contracts and manage risks.
- Understand natural gas and thermal power generation systems, including electrical, mechanical, process piping, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, architectural engineering, or related field (Required).
- Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
- 10+ years construction management experience (Preferred).
- Proven track record managing major power generation projects with all outlined responsibilities.
- Expertise in EPC delivery model and risk management.
- Established network of relationships with key industry stakeholders.
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
