Role DescriptionThe Project Manager – Electrical Emphasis is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Newnan GA, responsible for overseeing electrical components of our waste water treatment projects from planning through closeout. This role manages project schedules, budgets, and resources, coordinates with field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, and ensures electrical work complies with design specifications, codes, and safety standards. The Project Manager prepares and reviews project documentation, including drawings, submittals, RFIs, and progress reports, while monitoring quality, conducting site inspections, and resolving issues that may impact scope, cost, or timelines.
The position also involves writing PO’s, reviewing and processing submittals, expediting materials and equipment, managing logistics, and collaborating with leadership to forecast project needs and support continuous improvement across the organization.
- Strong project coordination and leadership abilities, including Project Management skills focused on electrical scopes within construction or site development.
- Experience in Expediting and working as an Expeditor to ensure timely procurement, delivery, and tracking of electrical materials and equipment.
- Proficiency in Inspection practices and quality control for electrical installations, ensuring compliance with codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
- Knowledge of Logistics Management to coordinate deliveries, staging, and sequencing of work on active job sites.
- Familiarity with electrical plans, specifications, and construction documents, with the ability to interpret drawings and technical details.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with field teams, clients, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with project management and construction software (e.g., MS Project, Excel, or similar tools).
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience in electrical contracting project management.
- Prior experience in project management with an electrical emphasis is preferred, however a solid building project manager with an understanding of electrical systems may be a good fit.
