Detailed Job Description for Cloud Ops GCP Stack (GKE/BQ/Tomcat/Terraform)

Strong GCP architecture and hands on experience working on GCP cloud projects.

Hands on experience with creating and maintaining GKE clusters (autoscaling etc.).

Platform engineering experience in building and managing AKS clusters, along with multiregional and multizone management.

Strong troubleshooting experience with respect to managing Google Compute Engine (standard and custom VMs).

Compute services management including service accounts, managing VMs, OS administration, OS patching management, data backup and maintenance.

Manage cloud storage including bucket, blob, backup and restore management.

Network and security management including VPC, subnets, cloud armor, WAF.

Strong understanding with load balancer (regional and global).

Cloud optimization (Kubernetes, microservices).

Good knowledge on Linux/Windows and shell, Python scripting.

Monitor the performance of cloud computing systems in real time to ensure high availability and efficient performance.

Monitor all alerts and report any issue that may significantly impact the business, work toward automating these tasks.

Maintain the security of an organization’s systems by monitoring activity logs and detecting signs of intrusions or malware infections.

Perform capacity planning to determine whether resources have enough space to handle expected growth in demand.

Monitor the health of applications by analyzing system logs for errors and performance problems.

Recommend changes to application architecture or design to improve efficiency and performance.

Should have experience on web application deployment & troubleshoot skills on Tomcat.

Good understanding on working in support project with 24
* 5 coverage and on call processes.

Good understanding with following service management process (incident, requests etc.)

In depth understanding with command line GCP resource creation and troubleshooting skills.
