Engineering Manager

Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park, a four‑diamond luxury hotel in downtown Atlanta.

The Engineering Manager will provide technical and administrative assistance to the Director of Engineering Services and assist in the operational aspects of the Engineering Department.

• Assist the Director of Engineering Services in upkeep of preventive maintenance, including keeping logs on work done, scheduling, and assignment of projects.
• Review work orders and assign work by priority.
• Maintain up‑to‑date inventories of heat, light & power and repair and maintenance supplies.
• Respond to guest requests.
• Work with Engineering staff on a shift basis and coordinate their activities.
• Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and emergency evacuation.
• Have a thorough understanding of Omni's job scenarios.

• Must have extensive HVAC and mechanical experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.
• Union experience preferred.
• 2–4 years of luxury hotel engineering experience preferred.
• Previous experience at a convention service hotel preferred.
• Ability to work in the interior and exterior of the hotel as needed.
• Must be able to maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
