Position: Esri ArcGIS Developer 2

GIS Developer

The role involves designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting GIS web applications, geoprocessing services, and enterprise GIS solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing GIS systems.

Requirement/Must Have:

Strong experience designing and developing GIS web applications and enterprise GIS solutions.
Experience developing customized web applications, web services, and mobile GIS solutions.
Strong knowledge of geoprocessing and GIS web services.
Experience developing GIS web editing and mapping applications.
Experience with system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and application maintenance.
Strong understanding of GIS system security and data protection controls.
Experience automating data processing through ETL scripting.
Ability to provide technical guidance and mentor GIS staff.

Experience:

Experience working on GIS application development and enterprise GIS environments.
Experience supporting and troubleshooting complex GIS systems and applications.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop customized web applications, web services, mobile, and enterprise GIS solutions.
Develop geoprocessing and GIS web services.
Design and develop GIS web editing and mapping applications.
Conduct performance, unit, system, integration, and quality assurance testing.
Maintain existing GIS applications and services.
Upgrade and migrate applications and services to current architectures and platforms.
Implement controls to ensure system and data security.
Document GIS solutions and maintain required technical documentation.
Collaborate with developers, architects, and IT project teams.
Estimate work efforts and complete project tasks within agreed timelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex GIS support issues.
Coordinate with vendors and IT teams for system troubleshooting and corrections.
Automate data processing using ETL scripts.
Ensure compliance with standards, guidelines, and best practices.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to GIS staff.

Should Have:

Qualification And

Education:
