Municipal /Water Resources/ Project Engineer

We are looking for an experienced engineer with previous experience on municipal projects such as stormwater, water distribution, and sanitary sewer projects. The ideal candidate will have both a technical background and leadership experience to design and manage a broad range of municipal projects.

• Self‑perform and direct project teams in the planning and design of infrastructure projects.
• Perform hydraulic and budget analyses to provide decision‑support information for clients and community.
• Prepare and/or check and sign off on basic design calculations and plans.
• Layout drawings for a component and demonstrate an understanding of the relationship to the overall design and purpose.
• Design elements/components of a project and coordinate development with other disciplines within the project scope.
• Demonstrate understanding between specifications, cost estimates and pay applications.
• Assume responsibility for assigned design calculation files, assuring adequate independent QC reviews.

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline required.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience with municipal projects including stormwater, water distribution, and sanitary sewers.
• Licensed PE in Georgia preferred, or desire to obtain licensure quickly.
• Increasing skills in creativity and judgment in the application of engineering.
• Proficiency in software relevant to the discipline; multiple programs specific to this area.
• Ability to collaborate with others in a team environment.
• Experience in ESRI Arc Map GIS and/or hydraulic water modeling is a plus.
• Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.
