Industrial Sales Engineer - Industrial Equipment Distributor

A global industrial trading company near Atlanta, GA is looking for a Industrial Sales Engineer – Manufacturer Representative experience PLUS to join their company. Ideal candidate will have industrial/ technical sales experience with good understanding of manufacturer’s needs.

• Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers
• Engineer adaptations of products, equipment, and services to match customer’s needs
• Provide product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information to ensure timely execution of the project from conception to implementation
• Assist in project feasibility studies by translating customer requirements to technical document formats, working with manufacturing and process engineering teams
• Prepare sales engineering reports and sales presentations
• Increase technical knowledge of products and fields related to its application
• Other job duties are assigned as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field
• Minimum 3 years of Sales engineer experience preferably manufacturing industry
• Able to read and understand the blueprints, technical drawings / specification
• Must be able to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation skills and time management is MUST
• Must have valid driver’s license
• Must be flexible and be able to work under a multicultural environment and minimal supervision
• While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
