We support disaster recovery efforts by delivering skilled professionals to assist FEMA and other agencies in rebuilding communities and enhancing resilience after major events. Our expertise spans across a wide range of labor categories crucial to recovery operations.
Weare seeking experienced professionals across multiple labor categories:
Duties Include:
- Perform specialized tasks depending on the labor category, such as environmental planning, cost estimating, engineering, and project management, in response to disaster recovery operations.
- Work closely with FEMA and other stakeholders to support disaster recovery efforts, including field assessments, damage evaluation, and documentation for public assistance programs.
- Provide technical expertise in compliance with FEMA guidelines and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with teams to deliver actionable plans for hazard mitigation, infrastructure restoration, and community resilience.
- Assist in reporting, communications, and maintaining comprehensive project records.
- Relevant undergraduate/graduate degree based on labor category (e.g., engineering, environmental science, architecture, accounting, etc.).
- At least 5 years of experience in the field of expertise.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to pass a background check to obtain a FEMA Badge (Existing FEMA Badge preferred).
- Ability to deploy to a disaster area within 48 hours of notice.
- Superior written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to support multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and effectively prioritize in a fast‑paced work environment.
- Ability to work professionally, effectively, and efficiently in a team environment with various stakeholders.
- FEMA Public Assistance experience.
- Active FEMA Badge/EOD.
- Experience with FEMA Grants Manager.
- Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP).
