Hardware Engineer, Field/Service Technician, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Role Overview
Provides highly visible customer support through on‑site installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, service and repair of complex equipment and systems. The position requires travel up to 75% and resident within one hour of a major airport.
Responsibilities- Check out and approve operational quality of system equipment; instruct customers in operation and maintenance.
- Act as company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters; interpret needs and clarify responsibilities among sales, support reps, and engineers.
- Support field tasks that may include hardware, software, PCs, networking, and limited company product installs and upgrades per technical documentation.
- Demonstrate equipment operation and specification according to Customer Acceptance Procedure (CAP).
- Work under limited direct supervision.
- Electronic and electro‑mechanical engineering experience; testing equipment for verification, checkout and calibration.
- Technical experience with micro‑computers/PC based systems.
- Customer‑focused attitude.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Fluency in the local language and in English, both written and spoken.
- Unix knowledge required.
- Basic computer usage and debugging skills.
- Fundamental knowledge of networks and networking techniques.
- High School Degree or equivalent.
- 0–1 year of experience.
- Basic understanding of imaging systems.
- Completion of LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibilities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and ERP products such as Workday.
- Desire to build a career in this field.

Compensation and BenefitsBase pay range: $50,210 – $69,036. Additional benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; life and disability insurance; paid parking or public transportation; paid time off and sick leave. Tuition reimbursement is also available.
