What You’ll Do- Divide your time between engineering, collaboration, and field support.
- Develop engineered lift plans, structural calculations, and technical solutions for complex construction and heavy‑lift projects.
- Evaluate structural loading, temporary support conditions, crane configurations, rigging systems, and construction methodologies.
- Partner directly with operations and project teams to solve real‑world engineering challenges.
- Visit project sites to support planning, evaluate constructability, and provide technical guidance during critical operations.
- Support estimating and pre‑construction teams by identifying engineering risks and practical solutions.
- Help establish engineering standards, procedures, calculation methods, and best practices.
- Mentor future engineering talent as the department continues to grow.

- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain Georgia licensure through reciprocity.
- Experience supporting complex engineering projects in construction, industrial, manufacturing, infrastructure, consulting, or related industries.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and field operations teams.
- Willingness to work in both office and project site environments.
- Help build and shape a growing engineering function.
- Work directly with executive leadership.
- Influence projects from concept through field execution.
- Solve technically challenging engineering problems that require creativity and practical thinking.
