Function Description

In the Entry-Into-Service (EIS) Customer Program team, we’re implementing strategic positions under Customer Service Programs for direct interface with multiple P&WC Business Units for all future engine product lines.

We are seeking a meticulous Reliability Analyst to join our Entry into Service Programs team. As a member of the Entry Into Service (EIS) team and being the (Regionals/General Aviation/ Turbo Shaft/ Turbo Fan/ APU) program’s “New Product Performance Engineering Specialist”, you will be responsible for all related dependability processes and own the associated performance indexes (KPIs) for EIS and new company business cases.

As a Reliability Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the support of business proposal risk assessment and the successful introduction of new products or systems into service. Part of a team of several experts, you will have the opportunity to contribute to integrated product teams (IPTs) and influence the redesign of parts which could affect the safety, reliability, maintainability and availability of a product or the cost of operation.

You will be expected to grow into the subject matter expert for dependability metrics and management. You will be coordinating with various stakeholders across the company to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of the products. Your expertise in conducting maintainability analyses and implementing improvement plans will be instrumental in ensuring accurate maintenance assumptions.

Day-to-day Responsibilities
  • Lead Product Dependability activities for the (Regionals/ General Aviation/ Turbo Shaft/ Turbo Fan/ APU) Entry into service programs including trend monitoring, identifying reliability drivers, and driving PMT actions.
  • Conduct comprehensive reliability analyses (Weibull, Fly Forward Analysis) for new products or systems entering into service.
  • Prepare and present reliability reports to key stakeholders, communicate findings, progress, and recommendations effectively.
  • Analyze reliability test data to identify failure modes, trends, and areas for enhancement, providing actionable insights to relevant teams.
  • Suggest preventive and corrective actions based on reliability findings to improve product performance and minimize operational risks.
  • Collaborate with customer support teams to gather and analyze field data, ensuring continuous improvement in product reliability and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and reliability engineering advancements to drive innovation and excellence in the entry into service programs.
  • Support new engine business cases using EIS and current engine programs to ensure proper engineering design and aftermarket lessons learned are considered.
  • Provide business forecast to support the development and flight test decisions in support of campaign reduction.
  • Support development of new business models and Lifecycle analysis.
  • Participate in new engine business cases and EIS program definition and development KPI tracking.
  • Some travel may be required.
