Solutions Engineer - Warehouse Automation
A global leader in warehouse automation is expanding its Engineering team in the United States, looking for an experienced Solutions Engineer to join its growing operation in Atlanta and help design the next generation of warehouse automation.
This is an opportunity to work on some of the most advanced automation projects in North America, designing innovative solutions that combine ASRS, shuttle systems, conveyors, robotics, AMRs and warehouse software for customers across grocery, retail, pharmaceutical, fashion, 3PL and cold chain industries.
Working alongside Sales and Engineering, you'll develop technical concepts, system layouts and cost-effective automation solutions for projects ranging from $5M to $50M, playing a key role in securing major customer programmes.
The Role- Design automated warehouse and intralogistics solutions for new and existing customer sites.
- Develop system concepts, layouts and material flow designs.
- Analyse customer data and operational requirements to create tailored solutions.
- Support the sales process through technical presentations, proposals and solution development.
- Collaborate with engineering, project delivery and commercial teams throughout the sales cycle.
- Visit customer sites across the United States (approximately 20% travel).
- 2+ years' experience within warehouse automation, logistics or supply chain engineering.
- An Engineering or Industrial Engineering degree.
- Knowledge of technologies such as ASRS, conveyors, shuttle systems, robotics, AMRs or warehouse software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to work directly with customers and sales teams.
