Position SummaryWe're seeking a Senior Product Stewardship Engineer to lead sustainable packaging platform initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in flexible packaging, product development, and sustainability innovation. This individual will drive technical projects, support customer needs, and collaborate cross-functionally to implement eco-conscious packaging solutions.
Responsibilities· Lead end-to-end platform projects focused on sustainable packaging innovation
· Serve as a technical liaison for customer sustainability initiatives
· Design sustainable solutions for various end-use markets
· Support and plan plant trials, collaborating closely with manufacturing
· Develop internal training programs and offer technical support
· Monitor industry shifts and supplier developments to enhance material innovation
· Foster relationships with suppliers and industry leaders
Required Qualifications· Experience in flexible packaging (5–10 years ideal)
· Product development background in packaging or adjacent industries
· Demonstrated success in driving sustainability or circular economy projects
· Strong cross-functional collaboration and project leadership skills
· Willingness to travel up to 25%
· Bachelor's degree in Packaging Science, Chemical Engineering, or similar field preferred
