Key Responsibilities
- Support geotechnical projects from planning through completion
- Assist with project scope development, scheduling, and budget tracking
- Perform geotechnical analysis and develop practical engineering recommendations
- Prepare reports, calculations, and project documentation
- Coordinate field investigations, observations, and testing activities
- Communicate with clients, project teams, and internal staff
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control efforts
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development as appropriate
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required
- Geotechnical focus preferred
- Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering preferred
- PE license or ability to obtain preferred
- 4–8 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience preferred
- Experience with geotechnical investigations, analysis, and reporting
- DOT project experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant engineering software
