Distribution Engineer

Note:

Potential hybrid work schedule with 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

Job Description:

Knowledge, Skills, & Attributes:

• Proficient with MS office products and related engineering Software highly desired (JETS, Socket, CYME, ARMS)
• Strong technical engineering skills and understanding of power systems
• General engineering and construction principles
• Knowledge of electrical system operations, distribution systems, underground and overhead construction practices.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, customer service, line crew and engineers.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Effective project management skills.
• Working knowledge of NESC.

Education and Experience:

• 2-year accredited technical degree
• 4-year accredited technical degree
• Distribution and/or related engineering experience with a power utility company is a plus.
