Our team is at the forefront of designing and validating the electrical systems, boards, and displays used in our industry-leading Freestyle Dispensers. WhatYou'll Do:
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop optimal hardware product architectures.
- Independently design, test, and release embedded circuit board designs.
- Coordinate closely with software and firmware teams to align hardware and software development activities.
- Enhance product quality and reduce costs through continuous development.
- Apply DFx best practices for circuit board assembly and testing.
- Communicate effectively across groups to drive project success.
- BS in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Proven electronics design experience, including wireless connectivity solutions using Thread and Matter.
- Familiarity with microcontroller circuit design and communication interfaces such as Serial, USB, SPI, I2C, and CAN.
- Experience in working with Procurement and Manufacturing to address supply chain issues.
- Strong judgment in verification testing for component End-of-Life scenarios.
- Ability to collaborate with Firmware and Software teams to develop new drivers.
- Understanding of the electronics design lifecycle from requirements to manufacturing.
- Experience with Electronics BOM Lifecycle Management tools like Silicon Expert.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Experience with Altium Designer.
- Knowledge of cable harness design and component selection.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, or Python for test firmware.
- Understanding of Regulatory and Compliance standards such as FCC, ETSI, UL, and CE.
- Experience with Windchill as a PLM system.
