We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to support major utility capital projects across transmission, substations, and power generation.

In this role, you will develop, maintain, and report on integrated project schedules from planning through construction, commissioning, and energization. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, construction teams, and EPC partners to identify schedule risk early and keep critical projects moving.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain detailed, logic-driven project schedules in Primavera P6.
  • Develop baseline schedules, milestones, critical-path analysis, and schedule updates.
  • Track engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and energization activities.
  • Collect progress updates from project teams and contractors; compare actual progress to plan.
  • Identify delays, schedule impacts, and recovery opportunities.
  • Prepare schedule forecasts, dashboards, and reports for project leadership.
  • Support outage planning and coordination where applicable.
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate schedule risks, dependencies, and required actions.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project scheduling experience supporting utility, transmission, substation, power generation, industrial, or EPC construction projects.
  • Advanced experience with Primavera P6 required.
  • Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM), baseline schedules, progress measurement, and schedule forecasting.
  • Experience supporting large capital projects from engineering through construction and commissioning.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, contractors, and project leadership.

Preferred Experience

  • Transmission line or substation projects
  • Power generation, renewable energy, or utility infrastructure
  • Resource-loaded schedules, delay analysis, and schedule recovery plans
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) and Power BI/Excel reporting
