As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and construction of various civil engineering projects in Atlanta. You will work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. Your tasks will include conducting site investigations, preparing design plans and specifications, managing construction contracts, and coordinating with regulatory agencies.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering projects
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Oversee the planning and design phases of civil engineering projects
• Conduct site investigations to gather necessary data for project development
• Prepare design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for projects
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals
• Manage construction contracts by reviewing contractor bids, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with project plans
• Work closely with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Provide technical support to junior engineers on the team
• Conduct quality control checks on project deliverables
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding project updates
• Mentor junior engineers on technical skills and professional development
