Automation Control Engineer

Atlanta area company needs an Automation/Robotics/Controls Engineer. You will be responsible for designing motion control systems including the programming of PLC's and HMI's. To qualify you must have a BSEE, and at least several years of experience in PLC programming - Allen Bradley, Rockwell, and Siemens preferred.

• Work with a team to develop, test and validate system architectures for robotic applications.
• Write PLC programs, integrating sensors, actuators, and motion controls.
• Develop algorithms for safety features and robotic movements.
• Generate documentation for subsystems including the electrical cabinets.

This is NOT a contract job.

• Bachelors' degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar.
• Five years of experience in robotics, industrial automation, or electrical controls engineering.
• Experience with industrial electrical design and PLC programming with Allen-Bradley, Rockwell, or Siemens controls.
• Proficiency with industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, TCP/IP, MODBUS, IO-Link
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Position requires some travel to domestic customer sites about 20-30%.
• You must have permanent authorization to work in the United States. This means you must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.
