Sigma Technologies, Ltd. seeks a Power Make-Ready Design Supervisor to lead engineering and design efforts for telecom and utility infrastructure projects. You will supervise a team of designers, review pole loading and clearance analyses, and ensure compliance with NESC/NEC and utility standards. Responsibilities include coordinating field data collection, assigning and tracking design work, performing QA/QC reviews, and supporting client communication. You will mentor junior staff, promote safety and precision, and help drive schedule, quality, and cost performance in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise power make-ready design team and allocate workload across projects
- Review and approve pole loading, clearance, and structural analyses for telecom attachments
- Ensure all designs comply with NESC, NEC, and specific utility standards and specifications
- Coordinate with field staff to validate survey data and resolve design conflicts
- Perform QA/QC on design packages, drawings, and documentation prior to client delivery
- Collaborate with clients, utilities, and internal project managers on scope, schedule, and priorities
- Develop and maintain design standards, templates, and best practices for make-ready projects
- Mentor and train junior designers and engineers, supporting their technical development
- Monitor project progress, address risks, and drive on-time, high-quality deliverables
- Promote a strong safety culture and adherence to company and client safety requirements
