Civil Project Engineer – Land Development
Atlanta, GA | Hybrid
We are seeking a Civil Project Engineer / Civil Design Engineer to join a well-established civil engineering firm in the Atlanta area. This is an excellent opportunity for a civil engineer with land development experience who is looking for strong project exposure, career growth, and the opportunity to work with an experienced civil engineering team.
Responsibilities- Design and develop civil site plans for commercial, residential, and mixed-use land development projects
- Perform site design, grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design
- Prepare detailed engineering plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Assist with permitting and coordination with local municipalities and reviewing agencies
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, clients, and other disciplines
- Perform site visits and assist with construction administration/observation
- Support projects from initial design through permitting and construction
- 3+ years of civil site design / land development experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience with grading, drainage, utilities, and site development plans
- Knowledge of land development permitting and plan preparation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- EIT or PE preferred but not required
- Base salary: $80,000–$170,000
