Commissioning Engineer

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to ensure reliable, scalable delivery of AWS infrastructure. You'll plan and execute commissioning for data center and cloud-related systems, develop and run test procedures, and validate performance against design and reliability standards. Partner with design, construction, and operations teams to troubleshoot issues, drive root-cause analysis, and improve global standards. Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning of AWS data center and cloud-related infrastructure, ensuring systems meet design and performance requirements
• Develop, execute, and document commissioning plans, test scripts, and procedures for IT, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues found during commissioning, coordinating with design, construction, and operations teams
• Analyze test data, identify risks, and drive corrective actions to ensure reliability, availability, and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional AWS teams to improve standards, automation, and best practices for global deployments
• Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and security standards across commissioning activities
• Support root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives for commissioned systems
• Provide technical guidance, documentation, and knowledge transfer to operations and support teams
