We are searching for an Energy & Sustainability Engineering Intern to join our Advisory Solutions team in Atlanta, GA.

Join our collaborative team of energy, sustainability, and infrastructure professionals and gain hands-on experience helping our clients reduce energy use, conserve water resources, and accelerate their sustainability goals.
As an Energy & Sustainability Engineering Intern, you'll work alongside experienced engineers and energy management specialists on real projects that improve the performance, resilience, and environmental footprint of buildings and campuses. You'll see firsthand how mechanical, electrical, and energy engineering principles are applied to solve complex challenges in the built environment. You will work on real billable projects, helping clients reduce energy and water consumption, lower carbon emissions, and improve the performance and resilience of buildings and infrastructure.
What you'll do:
- Support energy audits, feasibility studies, and decarbonization planning efforts for a variety of clients and facilities.
- Assist with energy modeling, performance assessments, and resilience planning initiatives.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate engineering solutions that improve building performance and operational efficiency.
- Help develop recommendations and implementation roadmaps that reduce environmental impact while supporting business objectives.
- Transform technical analyses into professional presentations and client-ready deliverables.
- Learn how high-performance buildings are designed, operated, and optimized to meet sustainability and energy goals.

Here's what you'll need
- Currently enrolled in a degree seeking program for Mechanical, Electrical or Energy Engineering or another closely related major, program must be ABET Accredited
- Familiarity with buildings and infrastructure and their impact on the environment
- Completion of at leat 2 years of collegiate coursework prior to start of internship
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Previous internship experience with an engineering or consulting firm or government agency
- Pervious experience or coursework conducting e nergy audits, feasibility studies, and decarbonization planning
- Working experience with AutoCAD
- Ability to travel to client sites within the continental US for up to 5 days
