Regional Engineer

The QUIKRETE Companies, the leading producer of cement and concrete products, is seeking a Regional Engineer to join our team in Johns Creek, GA
. As a Regional Engineer, you will support 16 Quikrete plants in the southeastern US. This engineer will provide engineering, maintenance, process improvement, capital project management services and technical expertise to new and existing Quikrete manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Providing process and design recommendations.
• Develop project scopes and capital budgets.
• Generate engineering design, bid specifications and schedules.
• Oversee budget review and forecasting.
• Provide project planning and project implementation to improve operating and/or cost efficiency.
• Participate in safety and environmental regulatory compliance.
• Travel of at least 50% is required for this position.

We Require:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• 5+ years of engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment.
• Experience in safety, governmental compliance and environmental compliance
• Experience with environmental control systems
• Material handling and storage experience
• Capital project accounting experience
• Drafting / CAD experience
• Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience
• Specification writing experience
• Ability to multi-task, work independently, and meet deadlines
• Self-motivated to find issues and resolve them timely
• Organized, detail-oriented, and with strong analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
