Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with customerstakeholders to define the scope and requirements of Ignitionsolutions, focusing on process improvements.
- Developproprietary software tools for product development, commissioning,and R&D.
- Buildand enhance Ignition solutions, including:
- Industrial and HVAC applications.
- Systemnetworks (BACnet, Modbus, Ethernet IP integrations).
- Perspectiveand Vision user interfaces.
- Reporting,alarm configuration, and SQL database interactions.
- CSSand Python-based scripting.
- Create detailed pre- and post-project documentation.
- Conduct thorough testing, deployment, and provide application support.
- Applyexpertise across industries and manufacturing processes while collaborating with project teams.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
- Travelup to 30% for client meetings, deployments, and support.
- Proven experience with Inductive Automation Ignition SCADA, including Core Certification (Gold Certification is a plus).
- Skilledin Perspective and Vision development.
- Strongintegration experience with PLCs, Modbus, and BACnet.
- Solid understanding of BAS and process plant controls.
- Abilityto independently manage and execute Ignition projects from start tofinish.
- Competent in reading electrical, process control drawings, and P&IDs.
- Functionalunderstanding of mechanical systems.
- StrongSQL database knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, Microsoft SQLServer, MariaDB).
- Solidgrasp of IT networks and controller communication protocols.
- Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, Controls Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Experience with DDC controls, Modbus, and BACnet protocols.
- Familiarity with Tridium or other BAS control systems.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and SAML 2.0.
