An established and growing multidisciplinary engineering firm is looking to add an experienced Water Resources Project Manager / Project Engineer to its Georgia team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level engineer who enjoys combining technical delivery with project leadership. You'll work on a diverse portfolio of stormwater, drainage, watershed, and water resources projects while helping develop junior engineers and strengthening client relationships.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take ownership of projects from initial planning and proposals through design, permitting, and construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of water resources projects, including stormwater studies, drainage improvements, watershed planning, and capital improvement programs.
  • Manage hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, including 1D and 2D modeling, and translate findings into practical engineering solutions.
  • Develop and oversee stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and related permitting efforts.
  • Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, technical reports, and construction cost estimates.
  • Support FEMA-related studies and Letter of Map Change applications.
  • Take responsibility for project budgets, schedules, scope, quality, and overall delivery.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • 7+ years of relevant water resources engineering experience.
  • Experience with 1D/2D modeling platforms and stormwater design software.
  • Knowledge of green infrastructure and low-impact development approaches.
  • Experience developing erosion and sediment control plans and navigating applicable permitting requirements.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Arc Map, Civil 3D, and related engineering software.
Why Consider This Opportunity?
  • Join an employee-owned firm with a strong ESOP package.
  • Strong work-life balance and culture, with average tenure for employee being 8 years.
  • Recognized year after year as one of the Best Places to Work in the South-East.
  • Strong compensation package that includes base, bonus, ESOP, 401k, disability insurance, tuition assistance, and so on. Health, dental and medical insurance covers family.
  • Option for half-days on Friday.

If you're a PE‑licensed water resources professional looking for greater ownership, leadership responsibility, and the opportunity to help grow a technical team, this could be an excellent next step.
