Georgia‑Pacific is seeking a highly motivated Project Engineering Intern to join our growing Project Services team in Atlanta, GA in the Summer of 2027. This is an exciting opportunity for a student who enjoys problem‑solving and working on real‑world projects in an industrial manufacturing environment. As an intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers supporting capital projects across multiple manufacturing sites.

What You Will DoIn this role, you will support the development and execution of engineering solutions for capital and improvement projects across our manufacturing operations. The position is focused on project development, engineering design, equipment specification, and scope definition, providing opportunities to work alongside experienced engineers while developing practical industrial engineering skills.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)- Currently enrolled in a Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering Bachelor's degree program at an accredited university
- Eligible for full‑time employment in the Summer of 2029
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future
