Pay rate: $12/hr PLUS TIPS

The Valet Parking Attendant ensures the safe and efficient parking of guest vehicles while delivering service that exceeds customer/client expectations. The Attendant responds quickly to customer requests and provides caring interactions. The Attendant works closely with team members, the Operations Manager and Shift Supervisor to meet quality and safety standards and comply with local laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mobilize and coordinate the entire valet process by retrieving keys, retrieving vehicles for waiting guests, loading guest vehicles, and issuing tickets and/or leveraging electronic devices to enter customer information.
  • Foster customer success, happiness and retention by building rapport, addressing inquiries and providing directions when needed.
  • Act as a courteous brand ambassador by interfacing with guests, opening vehicle doors, and unloading vehicles.
  • Deploy vehicle safety and security procedures to direct traffic, barricade positions, park cars in appropriate spaces, inspect for damage and report incidents and claims to leadership.
  • Pioneer financial operations by requesting and collecting relevant fees and reconciling end‑of‑shift revenue.
  • Meet and greet all guests upon arrival; open doors, assist with unloading when necessary.
  • Retrieve keys, issue tickets or enter customer information electronically.
  • Park vehicles in appropriate spaces and ensure safe operation.
  • Inspect vehicles for pre‑existing damage and record details electronically or on paper.
  • Quickly retrieve vehicles for waiting guests and assist with luggage when necessary.
  • Provide excellent customer service, respond courteously, and give directions to highways or destinations.
  • Direct traffic, set barricades and arrange towing when required.
  • Report incidents or claims immediately to Operations Manager or Shift Lead.
  • Request and collect relevant fees for service use.
  • Assist in reconciling end‑of‑shift revenue against ticket distribution when necessary.
  • Communicate professionally at all times with guests, clients and teammates.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Good verbal communication with guests.
  • Acceptable driving record and motor vehicle report (MVR).
  • Quick learning and sound decision‑making in fast‑paced environments.
  • Manual coordination for operating guest vehicles (eye‑hand, hand‑foot).
  • Physical ability to move from valet stand to cars by walking or running for extended periods.
  • Previous valet experience preferred.
