Position Summary:
This program offers interns hands‑on event management experience alongside the Event Sales and Services team. Interns learn about and assist with the execution of special events ranging from social functions (weddings, bar mitzvahs, etc.) to corporate parties, galas, non‑profit fundraisers, and more.
The internship is a three‑part program which allows the participant to grow from shadowing event coordinators to becoming the lead of an event at Georgia Aquarium. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. This internship will give students the opportunity to gain valuable applied experience and make connections in professional fields where they are considering pursuing careers.
