We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Special Events Parking Operations Supervisor to lead and coordinate parking operations during special events. This position is responsible for overseeing parking staff, ensuring efficient traffic flow, managing guest experience, and maintaining safety protocols. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, operational experience, and the ability to manage high-pressure situations with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise day-of parking operations including traffic direction, lot management, and staff deployment
Lead and support a team of Parking Ambassadors and Flaggers, ensuring proper coverage and execution of responsibilities
Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event debriefs with team members
Monitor and adjust traffic flow in real time to ensure guest safety and efficiency
Respond to and resolve guest concerns or incidents quickly and professionally
Ensure all signage, cones, barricades, and other equipment are properly placed and removed
Maintain clear communication with internal teams (security, venue operations, event staff) via radio or phone
Complete incident reports and operational summaries as required
Enforce safety procedures and ensure team compliance with uniform and conduct standards
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record may be required.
Must be able to pass background check
No visible offensive, face or neck tattoos
Prior supervisory or leadership experience in parking, traffic control, or event operations
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication and leadership abilities
Ability to make quick decisions and remain calm in high-volume, fast-paced environments
Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules
Ability to stand, walk, and direct traffic for extended periods, sometimes in varying weather conditions
Dependable, punctual, and solution-oriented
Professional appearance and demeanor
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working in parking operations for stadiums, arenas, or large-scale venuesCPR/First Aid certification (a plus)
Bilingual or multilingual capabilities (a plus)
Familiarity with event logistics, parking software, or two-way radio systems
Work Environment:
This is an outdoor position that requires prolonged standing and walking.
Exposure to varying weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, or wind should be expected.
The role involves working in high-traffic areas, often in crowded and noisy environments.
Flexibility is essential, as shift times vary depending on event schedules—including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to carry, lift, or move light equipment such as cones, signage, and barricades.
